The A Cappella Embassy
I had the pleasure to work with my friend Jeeves on a logo for his group, The A Cappella Embassy. He has taken his passion and turned it into a positive movement and knowledge base in the surrounding area.
What is it all about?
The A Cappella Embassy is comprised of people that are passionate about a cappella music of all shapes and sizes - contemporary, barbershop, classical, jazz, college, post-college, semi-professional, and professional. Members of the Embassy work to promote the genre and the community around the Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia area by finding venues for performers, promoting shows, going to and supporting concerts, and of course promoting the growth of a cappella groups in the area. The Embassy is headed by the Maryland Ambassador for the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America (CASA), and is a volunteer effort for all involved.
Jeeves is a very driven individual and gives you a modern view about a cappella music. You can become friends with him easily, and his passion, exuberance, and fun personality is infectious. I urge you to check out The A Cappella Embassy. The Web site is undergoing some exciting changes, so check back frequently. And don't forget to "like" them on Facebook and to follow them on twitter.
